Aneurin Bevan University Health Board have exciting opportunities to join our enthusiastic and innovative team as a salaried GP.
We currently have two types of roles – with Primary Care Operational Support Team (PCOST) or with Managed practice.
PCOST - The Role of the team is to support practices that have applied through the Sustainability Matrix. The Support is in the form of direct clinical and administrative support to practices but also facilitating new ways of working. It is recognised that PCOST GP’s work in Practices that have been challenged and will facilitate transformation. They will take on roles and responsibilities that would otherwise carried by the Partners of a Practice.
Managed Practice – Support our in-hours General Practices. As a key member, you will provide and take lead for the management of clinical services and will support service continuity and quality improvement initiatives in practices. You will also have opportunities to lead on specific aspects of service improvement, development, education and research.
These positions are an exciting new development with optional cross-working arrangements between out of hours, in-hours sessions in Practices and supporting care in an Acute setting e.g. A&E, Medical Assessment Unit, and Paediatrics.
